Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains which personal data we process when you visit this website or contact us, why we do so, and what rights you have. It is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, for example to visitors and customers in the European Union, this policy also follows its requirements.

For any questions about data protection, please contact us at the address above.
2. No cookies, no tracking
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising services, social media plug-ins or other tracking tools. Fonts, images and videos are served from our own web server; no data is sent to Google or other third-party providers when you view this website.
If you use the light/dark switch, your choice is stored only in your own browser (local storage) so that it is remembered on your next visit. This information is not transmitted to us.
3. Website hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA, Geneva, Switzerland, which processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. When you visit the website, the server automatically records technical information in log files, in particular:
- IP address of your device
- date and time of access
- page or file requested
- website from which you came (referrer)
- browser type and operating system
We use this information to operate the website securely, to detect and prevent misuse, and to create anonymous visitor statistics, such as the number of visits per month. We do not combine it with other data or use it to identify you. The log files are kept by our hosting provider for a short period, at least seven days according to the provider, and are then deleted automatically.
Legal basis under the GDPR: our legitimate interest in a secure and functional website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Contact form, e-mail and phone
You can contact us using the contact form on this website, by e-mail or by phone. We process the details you provide, such as your name, company, e-mail address, phone number, the content of your message and any technical details about your project, in order to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare an offer. Providing your details is voluntary; without the fields marked as required, however, we cannot answer your enquiry.
If you provide technical details about your project in the form, such as part description, material, machine, controller, annual quantity or cycle time, we use them to assess your enquiry and to prepare an offer. We keep these project details, together with your message, in our e-mail and project records for the periods described in section 5.
When you send the contact form, your details are transmitted encrypted (HTTPS) to our web server and forwarded from there directly as an e-mail to our mailbox. If you attach your non-disclosure agreement (optional), it is sent with your message as an e-mail attachment in the same way. Your details and documents are not stored in a database on the web server. Please do not send drawings or other confidential documents through the form; these are exchanged only after a non-disclosure agreement has been signed.
The web server is operated by our hosting provider (see section 3). Our e-mail is hosted by Proton AG, Geneva, Switzerland, which processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement.
Legal basis under the GDPR: steps prior to entering into a contract at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
5. Retention
If no business relationship results from your enquiry, we delete your data when it is no longer needed, at the latest two years after our last contact. If a business relationship results, we retain the data for as long as required by statutory retention obligations, in particular under Swiss commercial law (generally ten years).
6. Processing outside Switzerland
Our website and e-mail data are stored in Switzerland. Because we work on projects worldwide, our staff may access this data from the countries in which we are working at the time, in order to handle your enquiry or project. These are in particular Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, India, the member states of the European Union, the United States of America and Canada. Some of these countries do not offer a level of data protection recognised as adequate by Switzerland. Where such access takes place from a country without an adequate level of data protection, it is directly connected with answering your enquiry or with preparing or performing a contract with you (Art. 17 para. 1 lit. b FADP; Art. 49 para. 1 lit. b GDPR). Access from abroad is limited to what is necessary for handling your enquiry or project, takes place over encrypted connections, and the data remains stored in Switzerland.
Switzerland is recognised by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection.
7. Your rights
Within the limits of the applicable law, you have the right to:
- request information about the personal data we hold about you
- have incorrect data corrected
- have your data deleted or its processing restricted
- object to processing based on our legitimate interests
- receive data you provided to us in a common, machine-readable format
To exercise these rights, contact us at the address in section 1. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority: in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), and in the EU the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
8. Data security
This website is transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
9. Links to other websites
This website contains links to the websites of our technology partners. When you follow such a link, the privacy policy of the respective operator applies.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when our website or the law changes. The version published on this website applies.
